THE TEAM: The 196 Mountain Bike (196 MTB) team is a cycling team that develops riders and competes against other teams in Minnesota under the rules of the Minnesota Cycling Association (MCA). We balance the competition of a team with other aspects of a club to keep the sport fun and enjoyable for riders of all ability levels. The 196 MTB team is a fun and inclusive family-oriented community that builds life skills through the sport of cycling.
The season runs mid-July through mid-October.

Socks will be available for purchase at practice. Pay via Venmo or cash on pickup.

Von Hanson's Fundraiser | Saturday, August 8th and Sunday, August 9th
196MTB has another great opportunity to raise money for the team at Von Hanson's in Eagan. Riders will sell grilled brats, chips, and cookies to hungry folks!
We need as many volunteers as possible to make this fundraiser a success. Whether you've been part of the team for years or are brand new, we need you!
Riders, please sign up for at least one shift and help us make this fundraiser run smoothly. Each shift requires one parent for grilling.

Sign-ups for August 22nd/23rd Race Weekend in Austin
It takes a village... let's put ours into action! 🚵
Please sign up to volunteer or donate food, beverages, or paper goods for our first race weekend (August 22nd/23rd). Every shift and every donation helps keep our riders fueled and our team running strong!
Donated items will be collected at practice on the Thursday before the race by a designated volunteer (ideally the Morning Tent Host).
