Ride Leaders of all ability levels are required to make our practices safe and successful.

Steps to Ride Leader registration

Step 1: Complete Part 1: TeamSnap Registration. Go to Ride Leader TeamSnap registration >>.

Step 2: Complete Part 2: MCA Registration. Go to MCA CCN >>.

• Enter EAGAN as your school regardless of the school your Student Rider attends.
• The team passcode is 196MTBRIDERS. 
• Pay the MCA $40 fee.
• There will be an $11 fee for the Sterling Associates background check.

Step 3: Complete the MCA Level 1 Coaching requirements by July 1st.

• Background Check: Once you complete your registration with MCA you will receive a link from Sterling Partners to complete your background check. The link is only good for 72 hours -- complete this step as soon as possible.
• Waiver/Participant Agreement
• Online Course: Abuse Awareness Training (1-1.5 hours)
• Online Course: Concussion Training (30 minutes)
• Online Course: Youth Development through Cycling (1-1.5 hours)
• In-Person Bike Skills Course: Mountain Bike Skills 1 (offered for free through MCA or through the 196MTB team)
