Student Rider Registration

Student Riders must register with both 196MTB via TeamSnap and MCA.

Eligibility

Eligible students are

  • Students (6th - 12th grade) attending area District 196 High Schools or Middle Schools, public or private.
  • Home-schooled students living within District 196 boundaries.

Students living outside the District 196 school district boundaries are ineligible.

Steps to Student Rider registration

Step 1: Complete Part 1: TeamSnap Registration.

Step 2: Complete Part 2: MCA Registration.

  • Go to MCA CCN >>.
    • Once you sign in and select your Student Rider's school,
      • Select your rider's high school, even if currently in middle school.
        • If your rider will be in 6th - 8th grade, and you plan to OPEN ENROLL your rider in a different high school than their assigned school, you MUST register your rider for their ASSIGNED high school.
      • The team passcode is The team passcode is 196MTBRIDERS. .
  • Follow the instructions provided above. (Note: MCA registration can be confusing!)
  • When registering with MCA, you will the option to also register for races. Riders are not required to race; however, if your rider is interested, we recommend registering for the whole series to save money (4 races + State Championship, if your rider qualifies). If your rider decides to not race, the MCA will provide a refund for the remaining races.
  • If you miss race registration, return to the MCA CCN >> page. The option will display there.
